Quick note: Smashwords has an annual End of Year Sale (a huge indie e-book event that runs every December into January, with big discounts on thousands of titles via Draft2Digital/Smashwords). Celia Blake's works are often included in this sale. The Summer/Winter Sale runs from July 1 to July 31 each year. While no sale is active right now, it's worth bookmarking—the next one usually kicks off mid-December. In the meantime I'd like to tell you more about Celia.
It’s such a delight to choose (or admire) cover art for stories and novels. Some authors design their own, while others collaborate with photographers or professionals for that perfect visual hook. One that stands out to me as especially lovely is on Celia Blake's short story Exposed. She received kind permission to use this stunning underwater photograph of an octopus by Enrico Somogyi.

His work captures the mystery and grace of the ocean so vividly and the octopus suits Celia's story's theme.
Exposed is an interesting short story about a creature that wakes from hibernation to complete his purpose. Available as an e-book. (It may even be offered for free here on TwilightLetters.com soon—stay tuned!)
Celia's writing consistently brings warmth and uplift. Here are a few of her standout titles I recommend:
Short Stories & Collections
The Kid — This is a spiritual story which takes place over a few hundred years. One thing, however, stays the same: The love a mother feels for her child.
Falling Into Eden — A short story for readers who love nature and symbolism. It's about a girl named Tanya who meets a man through her dreams.
A-Z Bedtime Stories — Wholesome tales for children and adults. Perfect for cozy reading or sharing.
Teen Novels to be read by all ages (Great for Young Readers or Fantasy Lovers)
The Guardian of the Well — Pre-teen novel. Magical adventure with heart and depth.
The Bard of Wild Rose — YA novel that draws you in.
Why not surprise someone you love with an e-book this season (or anytime)? Indie stories like these make thoughtful, instant gifts—no wrapping required!
