Kiss the rain

A misty path

We make

Over green hills

Sprinkled kisses

On the pavement

Through shadows of elm

Maple and pine

On the bay

Our eyes

Trace bolts of light

Across the sky

As gusts of wind lift

Us

Almost to

Ground

Us

Sheets of water

Drape down

And

We

Run.
