Courageous and . . .
Angelic panther,
Was I destined for you?
If you have nine lives
we’ve met in a few—
I recognize your eyes—
your scent—
your you.
Our touch wraps around
vibrant and pure
I purr with you nightly
I love you for sure!
Clouds or twilight
dusk or bright sun
playful whiskers
tickle in fun!
Proud and parental
on guard for love
you give and receive
blessings for your young.
Quick-witted with words,
spinning pun after pun
your daughters’ laughter
echos on and on—
Soul of the forest
Spirit of the stars
with secrets . . .
here and far
Shining black coat
nocturnal eyes
your wings and your magic
darkness & light
We roam the elements
You watch my grace—
our energies match—
a rhythmic pace—
into the in-between
our adventure awaits!
