(Poem of the Week)
Dear God,
Dear Goddess,
Blessed Be.
I seek you attention—
Please, hear me.
May I remember my lessons—
Allow me to see—
So I am not haunted
by the memories.
By opposite energies
together working
Existence becomes—
Creates you, creates me.
All can turn cloudy
Among the extremes—
Grayness can cover,
Hiding you,
Blinding me.
Then from the east
Comes a warm spring breeze
The moon shines a path
near flowers and trees—
The heart of the sky
peaks into the bay—
waves of the water
flash by your face.
If I knew the limits
I may be centered and free
to give
love
to live,
to be as we see.
With each moment,
each choice
you put before me,
with the night,
with the day,
with each word I speak—
I thank you
I pray to you
Your knowledge
I seek.
I feel you around me—
come closer, please.
As your rays caress,
As your wings sweep,
I ask that a breath
bless through to me.
Help me dear God—
Dear Goddess, hear me—
Grant me your sound—
So mote it be.
