"It is a good rule after reading a new book, never to allow yourself another new one 'till you have read an old one in between." —C.S. Lewis

I have one bookshelf full of must-keep-near-me books. The remainder of my books are stored away because I do not, at this time, have room for them. It's hard being away from them, but when I have the room it will be like Christmas! I could reread them all these so many years later and have completely new experiences with each one. It's difficult to remember what I have stored away. Some are more memorable than others, like The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I really found my patriotic side when I read The Kent Family Chronicles by John Jake (historical fiction). I recall having many V.C. Andrews novels, and they were quite strange. Dean Koontz has been one of my favorites, also strange fiction, as well as Anne Rice (God bless her soul). I really enjoy Nora Roberts, too. Mary Stewart has a Arthurian Series I loved reading. And, Anne Kelleher's The Shadowlands Series is a skillfully written fantasy romance. I should read that one again. I've recently discovered T.I. Lowe, and I love her. Oh, I have so much to read!!

Guy Gavriel Kay and Piers Anthony are two male writers I have had the pleasure of reading, but it seems I have more female authors in my collection. In fact, my number one favorite author of all time is Marion Zimmer-Bradly (God bless her soul). Still, my number two favorite book is The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield.

I may do my own reviews of newly published books. But, I will also do my part to keep older books alive!

I am featuring Cori Lark, Celia Blake, and Cleo Bell. I hope you love them!

I hope to share many other quotes, posts and poems on this site as well.

Peace and love,

Tracy
