I agree with Eckhart Tolle in his book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose when he says the awakened, those who live consciously in the present moment, those who have de-emphasized who they are on the level of form, those who live in oneness with universal intelligence—all these "awakened" people express themselves in varying intensity. There are those who become involved and there are those who live more passively.
Those people who are "involved" are doers, creators, impactors. The more passive awakened ones "anchor the frequency of the new consciousness on this planet." They do this through their daily living. With "just being." Both are important.
However, I believe we can be both doers and live passively. We can have years of creating music, building monuments, helping others, as well as years of solitude and meditation. Sometimes they even blend together. The point is we are what Tolle calls "frequency-holders." But here's another thing: people's frequencies do change, and that's okay. It's more than okay—it's good for us because we never stop learning.
Tolle's point, I think, is that through acceptance, enjoyment, enthusiasm, and surrender, we can hold the frequency by doing absolutely everything in a sacred manner. I have been saved by grace, but I continue to grow and learn. I've had many resurrections during my life, and a great awakening, but there is still more to experience and discover. Spiritual development is never-ending. People, humans, can go long periods-of-time without letting their ego take over, and awareness of ego removes the egotism in that moment. But it, ego, is always there in every one of us. It will show itself even if only in that fleeting thought, that moment. And, to be real, life can slap you in the face, even if you are "awakened." It is not until we completely transcend, that is die, will we be completely free of it.
Tolle states "Only the present moment can make us free." I agree. He says that when we are in the stillness we are free from thought. It rememinds of what I call "the in-between." Anyway, allow me to think on this . . . ;-) Right now I'm thinking that some scientists say time is an illusion. But, life isn't an illusion. Neither is death.
Tolle also says "The awakened consciousness is not a future state to be achieved. It is feeling oneness with the whole and the Source."
"The meek shall inherit the earth." Mathew 5:5.
So, now my thought moves into James Redfield's book, The Celestine Prophecy, when the group vibrates on such a high frequency that they disappear from the eyes of those vibrating at lower frequencies.
And now my thought moves to the multi-dimensions.
But, all the while I am enjoying writing this in this present moment.
Through it all one thing holds true: All good things come from God.
