Odin, a Norse God, hanging from the Tree of the World, Yggdrasil, through a vision saw these Runes. Through divination such as these, we can get in touch with our higher self. Accept it, change it, or walk away. This is sound, practical advice. Acceptance can be empowering because it makes choice possible.

Changing your perception or altering your perspective can bring more knowledge which can lead to the right choices for you. It can bring beauty. When you focus on your inner vision, your outer view becomes transformed. Before long, you realize you’re harmonizing with the universe’s perfect order. Getting in tune with your higher-self guides you toward right action (or inaction). You perceive the flow, learn to interpret the signs, and grow spiritually. Feel the divine within yourself, see the divine in the world around you.

Runes were used in Iceland during the late Middle Ages. Before that, Viking Rune casters (both men and woman) garbed themselves with stones and charms, some carved with these rune symbols. Although we don’t know for sure, some people believe Runes were developed around 200 BC by the Nordic tribes of Northern Europe. They believed that by choosing the appropriate Rune, they could tap into the force which that Rune represented. I believe they can be a divination tool. I also believe the Runes are oracles of the self.
